My name is William Smith. I am a master graduate of the University of York St. John (Scotland) where I read for my degree in Leading Innovation and Change. Consulting with organisations in the years thereafter had me realise many of the fears and phobias we have, that prevent us from stepping up to the plate where can actually achieve our dreams, are in fact no more than mind barriers.
A coaching qualification after Scotland aided in better understanding various coaching modalities to help clients work on these barriers.
During many years of consulting and coaching, this approach had me me helping many organisational teams and individuals achieve what they believed they were capable of. “Working on” is however not breaking the limiting hold these fears and phobias have on us …
It was not until I studied BWRT® as technique under its creator, Terrence Watts, MCGI, that I realised how much we can affect the interruption of inhibiting behaviours and emotions. Behaviours and emotions that limit not only how we approach and deliver on our drives to success, but in many instances our enjoyment of life and many of its facets.
I am a child of Africa. Born in Namibia and raised in South Africa. My better half, who is Portuguese, and I now live in Lagos (Portugal) though we spend every year a month or so back in Africa where I learned as young man, fighting for a place on the corporate ladder, and what Nelson Mandela aptly voiced to our nation, “May your choices reflect your hopes, not your fears.”
That’s why I help people uproot their fears and anxieties so they can focus on achieving their hopes, assisting them to challenge the change required to achieve what they believe they are capable of.
May I also be of service to you.
